Kingston, known locally as “The Little City by the Sea”, was once a lumber town in the late 1800’s.

Now a sleepy looking but active town of about 4,900, our town is the gateway to the Olympic Peninsula as the Edmonds-Kingston ferry docks right on the shore of the town. We host a wonderful two to three day (depending on the calendar) Fourth of July Celebration featuring the longest running Fourth of July parade west of the Mississippi and multiple other activities.

We also have a wonderful Heritage Day festival the last Saturday of September and our Kingston Country Christmas the second Saturday of December.
